Las Vegas, Nevada surveillance video enhancement

Multi-camera casino, hotel and garage footage, one camera at a time

Several cameras may have caught the same moment, so frame selection across all of them comes first. One view may show the table or doorway closer than the rest, at a better angle or in better light.

Exposure and contrast lift a dim casino floor. Isolating a region pulls one table, doorway or parking bay out of a wide dome view. Slowed playback separates a quick hand movement into frames you can study. Careful enlargement shows only what the pixels hold. Our overview of the service explains what enhancement can and cannot show on any recording.

Long retention settings trade detail for storage

Storage shapes what a large system keeps. To hold footage for longer, a system may record fewer frames each second or compress its H.264 or H.265 stream harder. A quick hand movement can fall between two frames, and fine texture breaks into blocks. Enhancement cannot bring back what those settings discarded.

Resort settings add their own limits: low light on gaming floors, glare from signage and slot screens, steep angles from ceiling domes, and the distance across a parking garage. On some incidents no camera on the system recorded enough to answer the question, and we report that result as inconclusive.

Our Nevada crew films and does no forensic work

One in-house team handles every camera on your system, from the first export to the last note, so the results read as one set rather than a stack of separate jobs.

On every camera, our in-house team carries out the enhancement and writes the notes that travel with your results.

  1. Send the camera list

With your inquiry, list the cameras that covered the area and the time range on each. Add the property's camera map if one exists. Hold the footage until the transfer is ready.

  2. We arrange the transfer

We set up a controlled transfer for the exports. Footage never travels any other way.

  3. Narrow cameras and time ranges

Our in-house team assesses which cameras and which moments can answer your question. Cameras that add nothing are left out of the enhancement work.

  4. Quote once scope is clear

The quote lists the cameras and time ranges in scope. It carries a delivery date.

  5. Results by camera

Work runs on copies, and the original exports stay as received. Each camera's results come back as their own set.

Forensic video enhancement cost in Las Vegas, NV, and what you receive

Following one incident across a resort means moving from camera to camera. Results are arranged the same way. Each camera's clarified clips and stills sit together in time order, with the original export beside them. Written notes list every processing step and the software used. Someone reading the file can follow an incident from the casino entrance to the garage without guessing which clip comes next.

More cameras and more hours mean more work

Each camera is a separate export to open, check and clarify. Each hour adds review before any enhancement starts. A proprietary player, mixed formats or a long list of stills adds work as well.

The quote follows the assessment, and narrowing to the cameras and time ranges that matter keeps the work focused.

Narrow the cameras and the time range first

Volume sets the pace on a long recording. A request covering every camera for a whole night takes longer to assess and process than one covering the cameras nearest the incident. Narrowing first is what shortens the wait. Your quote names the delivery date.

Sending Las Vegas, NV video evidence

Native exports per camera, with the player and a camera map

Multi-camera exports run large. They travel only by controlled transfer, set up after you contact us. Never send footage by email.

Send each export exactly as the system produced it, with any time stamp or verification watermark intact. Do not convert the files or film the monitor with a phone. Keep the original export untouched; we work only on copies. Our evidence-handling procedure is documented, and counsel receives it on engagement.

A complete transfer saves a round of questions.

  • The native export for each camera, made with the system's own export tool
  • The player software, if the export needs one to open
  • A camera list, or the property's camera map if one exists
  • Known clock offsets between cameras or recorders
  • The date and time range covered by each camera

Once we understand the job, a transfer follows

Your first message only needs an outline. Give the property type, how many cameras, the time range and the question the footage has to answer. To request an assessment, call (505) 629-9447 or email info@skolxmedia.com. We arrange the transfer once that picture is clear. Our in-house team then assesses the exports, and a quote with a delivery date follows. No step needs an office visit.

Handled remotely from Santa Fe, with no office in Nevada

Forensic video enhancement for Las Vegas, Nevada runs remotely from our headquarters in Santa Fe. We have no office or lab in Nevada. Inquiries come by phone or email, footage arrives by controlled transfer, and results return by the same route.

Clark County recordings often come from large properties: gaming floors on and off the Strip, hotel corridors and lobbies, and the garages that serve resorts and shopping centers. One property may run hundreds of cameras on one system. Older footage on those systems is usually overwritten on a cycle.

Las Vegas, New Mexico is a different city in our home state, and readers there should use our page on forensic video enhancement in Santa Fe.

Las Vegas, NV forensic video enhancement FAQ

Questions about Las Vegas, Nevada footage

What video files should we send for enhancement?

Send the native export from the recording system, one per camera, plus the player software when the format requires it. For a phone or dashcam, send the original file. A phone recording of the monitor loses detail, and so does a copy forwarded by text, social media or email, because those platforms recompress and resize. Label each file with its camera, date and time range, and we will arrange the transfer.

Can you work with casino or hotel surveillance exports?

Yes, when the export comes from the property's system in its native format, with the player it needs. How you obtain the footage is a matter for you and your counsel; we do not advise on it. Such exports can span many cameras and hours. A short list of cameras and times keeps the assessment focused.

How do we narrow a long multi-camera recording?

Start from the time of the incident and work outward. List each camera that covered the area, using the property's camera map if there is one. Note each camera's clock offset from real time. Send those time ranges first. Our in-house team assesses them and tells you if more footage is needed.

Do you have an office in Las Vegas, Nevada?

No. We are headquartered in Santa Fe and serve Las Vegas, Nevada remotely. Our in-house team does the enhancement, and every file moves by controlled transfer.

How does AI speed up work on long recordings?

Working through a long recording means repeating the same steps on every camera and every hour. AI agents carry out those steps inside industry-standard editing software, using only that software's existing tools, so they take less time. The agents make no judgment about the footage; our in-house team does. Nothing they do generates a pixel.

Can parking garage footage shot at night be clarified?

Within limits. Exposure and contrast adjustments, frame selection and careful enlargement can make a dim garage easier to read. Distance across the deck, low light and headlight glare cap what any process can show. A plate recorded in too few pixels stays unreadable, and some night footage ends inconclusive. The assessment flags that before any quote.
